If you want full potential out of this tune you absolutely NEED to re-clutch. The stock clutching is designed to run at 6100-6400 RPM which is way too low for this tune, after this ECU tune the peak HP is up over 7000 RPM. Clutch tuning is absolutely needed with this tune. Rev limiter is raised to a safe 8800 RPM, Speed limiters in all gears are eliminated. Additional protection is offered by lowering the cooling fan temp from 205 degrees down to 190 to keep your engine running cooler and lasting longer. Fuel and timing maps are revised for peak performance on pump gas while keeping your piston crown temps and valves cooler than stock. All engine protections are left in place. It performs great on 87 octane gas and even better on 91 octane gas. This tune version is the most aggressive and only reflash currently offered by Gilomen Innovations for the 1000cc Ranger models. This tune does not cause any codes / check engine lights. If your machine is equipped with turf mode I can assure you it will stay fully functional just as it was designed to be.
